The title is inscribed on the verso of the item, together with a further description, which states where and when the photograph was taken, and gives additional topographical information.The photograph was sent by Ernest Vincent Packer, Manager, Petroleum Concessions Limited, Bahrain to Lieutenant-Colonel Percy Gordon Loch, Political Resident, Bahrain. Packer's covering letter, dated 17 March 1937, is on folio 133 of IOR/R/15/2/160. Packer adds in the letter: 'the mica hill is easily seen from some 5 miles away when approaching Jabal Naksh by car from the North or North-East and rather masks Jabal Nakhsh'. \| 1 black and white photograph \| Dimensions: 67 x 110 mm.Foliation: the main folio number, 136, appears on a separate insert in the top right corner of the polyester sleeve in which the photograph is housed. An additional folio number, which is not circled, appears in the same position. \| more \| less
