Notlar	Map on four sheets numbered I-IV, produced from an original survey by Richard John Preece, Assistant Superintendent of the Telegraph Department, Persia. The maps show the road between Shiraz and Jashk [Jāsk], as travelled by Preece on a journey on foot in 1884, and described in the enclosing volume. The map indicates: the road; settlements along the route; topography, with some indication of relief. Each map has an index, indicating the sheet number and its position in relation to the other three sheets.A printing caption at the bottom of sheet I of the map reads: ‘Drawn and zincographed in the Intelligence Branch, Qr.
