Codex, ink, colours and gold on paper, 59 folios, Turkish text in naskh script, with illuminated heading (sarlawh, fol. 1v), labelled diagrams and tables (throughout), adjustable diagram (volvelle, fol. 7r), paintings of Zodiac constellations (fols. 8v-14r), planets (fols. 17r-20r) and angels (fols. 21v-24v), with paintings of single flowers in margins (throughout), Almanac (Taqvīm), compendium of calendar information on astronomy, astrology, the natural and occult sciences and comparative calendar systems, composed by Amīr Muḥammad ibn Amīr Ḥasan al-Su`ūdī, copied (and possibly also compiled) by Muḥammad al-Uskudārī (signed fols. 34v, 55r), probably Istanbul, Turkey, dated Sha`ban 1029H (fol. 55r), July 1620.
