Örnek Metin The pious man riding a panther, from the Garden (Bustan) of Sa'di. A man stares in astonishment to see someone riding through the landscape on a wild panther, holding a snake in one hand. Sa`di tells this anecdote about a particularly pious individual, who has achieved such willing submission to God, that all dangerous creatures have submitted willingly to him. Folio, ink, colours and gold on paper, later re-margined, Persian text in nasta`liq script, with painting (on verso), from the Garden (Būstān) of Sa`di, folio detached from the codex (CB Per 156) signed by Mir Shaykh Muhammad ibn Shaykh Ahmad, dated Shawwal 883H, January 1479, but probably later.
