Notlar	Photocopy of a map of the north-eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula, which is marked 'MAP C.I.' in the top right-hand corner. It was issued by the Saudi Arabian Directorate of Public Instruction for use in schools (a description at the back of the volume that it accompanies notes that the map was withdrawn from use in November 1949). The map indicates towns, political frontiers, caravan and car routes, railways, rivers, sea routes and mountains. Most of the text is in Arabic, although some of the text is also in English. Scale not given. The map is attributed to Muḥammad ‘Abdul-Mun‘im, professor in the secondary school for the preparation of missions in Mekkah.
