Binding: Pasteboards covered in dark brown leather ; Type II binding (with flap), likely two-piece binding (seam of overlapping flanges visible at spine) ; pastedowns and flyleaves in orange surface-dyed and gold-flecked European laid paper ; upper and lower covers carry stamped (with gold-painted orange paper recessed onlays) lozenge-shaped central ornament (filled with vegetal composition) with gold-painted accents and tooled border ; sewn in dark pink thread, two stations ; worked chevron endbands in pink and yellow, good condition ; overall in fairly good condition with minor abrasion, lifting of leather, etc. Former shelfmark: "403 T.
