Double-page illumination at beginning containing a list of contents and index protected by guard sheet, elegant illuminated headpiece with title: Kitāb-i Ṣaḥīḥ-i Bukhārī. Marginal glosses and corrections. Information about each volume indicated on the spine of each volume separately with Arabic numbers 1 and 2. Pagination: v.1 (BWL W8:1) has 664 unnumbered pages (ff.332): v.2 (BWL W8: 2) continues with 665-1118 unnumbered pages (333-609). Approximate date of text early 17th century ( from Gacek) Holding in McGill Library's Rare Books and Special Collections, Blacker Wood Rare Books: Stamp of Dr. Casey Wood on the verso of the last page of the second volume.
