Notlar Author's name varies. The manuscript gives the name: Abū Ḥafṣ ʻUmar ibn Ibrāhīm al-Ausī. Brockelmann gives: Abū Isḥāq Ibrāhīm b. Muhammad b. Yahyā ... al-Anṣārī al-Ausī al-Mursī. Haj. Khal. gives: Abū ʻAlī ʻUmar ibn Ibrāhīm al-Anṣārī. Brockelmann cites an alternative title of this work: Zahr al-akmām fī qiṣṣat Yūsuf ʻam. Description of the text given in Brockelmann agrees with this manuscript. Text not found in Brit. Mus. catalogues of Arabic books and mss. Simple leather bound codex with medallion-shaped tooled designs on upper and lower covers as well as envelope flap, which have eroded. Text written in black naskh script with rubrications. Double red line borders text. Initial two folios lack borders and are written in a different hand. These seem to have been pasted in after the book was bound. Colophon gives date for the completion of this manuscript as Monday in the middle ten days of the month of Muḥarram, 1122 / March 1720.
Biyografik/Tarihsel Bilgi Born in Shaʻbān 687/ September 1288 and lived in city of Granada in al-Andalus. Died in Jumada II 751/ August 1350.
