Notes Incipit: The first chapter, in the order of the plant, which has the sign of mime, know Asadak Allah, who is the creator of the three worlds Manuscript. Author's name appears on the colophon. First page is written in large naskh script, second page includes some images of flowers. Text begins with a complementary note to Nuzhat-nāmah-yi ʻAlāʼī, first page includes an introductory note on the legality of animals as daily food. Includes 19 maqālahs. Subjects discussed in the Risālah include: plants, animals, soul and its characteristics, earth, natural elements, astrology, astronomy, nature, universal intellect, creation of universe. Text ends with an incomplete note on God's friends and their spiritual state. Oriental paper; clear Naskh script; rubrications; 27 lines per page. Title was devised based on Dr. Casey Wood's description in Vertebrate zoology, page 564.
