Notlar Shelfmark: MS Or 217., Origin: None of the works are dated; probably completed sometime between the mid-17th and the mid-19th century., Decoration: The decorations are not uniform across all four works, though all are border-ruled and all have rubrications in red. Work 1: Border-ruled in gold and black; headers set off by rules and gold roundels with red dots; the same roundels punctuate the text (f. 1v-6r). Work 2: Border-ruled in double red and blue ( f. 8r-10v). Work 3: Dual page illuminated opening (f. 11v-12r) with headpiece in gold, blue, red, black with marginal in-fill of a foliate design in gold; a portion of the fore-edge margin has been repaired and filled with a slightly different pattern in a darker ink. The textblock has double gold rules, the page opening framed by a gold rule and lines are divided by gold rules above and below each line. Text is written on gold-sprinkled background between the rules; gold roundels with blue outlining dots and a central red dot punctuate the text. Painting depicting the Rawḍah at Medina covering the full page-opening, wide yellow frame, of polychrome [pink, blue, yellow, green, red] and gold (f. 29v-30r). Work 4: Border-ruled in double red and blue (f. 138r-151v)., Script: Written in naskh in black ink; several different hands; pointed, vocalized., Layout: 9-11 lines, some pages line-ruled; border-ruled., Foliation: Modern foliation added in pencil, upper left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left.
