Notes Anonymous donator, Begins with: (2b) In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Praise be to God, praise of the thankful, and blessings be upon the Master of the first and the last, and upon his good and pure God. And then know that the way to fulfill what is intended is threefold: truth, metaphor, and metaphor (3a). Truth is a word used in what it was intended for in that it is what it was intended for, and metaphor is a word used in something other than what it was intended for in the sense that it changed it through a relationship between them, i.e. connection and occasion. Between the subject for him and the user in it, Ends with: (24b) Or an adjective such as so-and-so who is long-lasting, or a relationship between them such that generosity is in so-and-so’s house, meaning that generosity in so-and-so freed him, the poor, the despicable, in need of the mercy of his Almighty Lord, Abdul Aziz Al-Wasafi bin Al-Haj Saif Allah Effendi Al-Adahzoumi. King Al-Aziz Al-Qawi pardoned them both in the beginning of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the months of the year three hundred and thousand and three. The text is surrounded by its two commentaries. One of them is written by Bakr ibn Aḥmad al-Muntašawī al-Musawwalī, known as Muṣannifak (fl. 12th/18th c.), a disciple of the author, while the other by Sayyid Ḥāfiẓ Efendi (fl. 12th/18th c.), Interlinear and marginal notes in Arabic in black and red ink, On fol. 2r Persian couplets by Burhān (Muḥammad Ḥusayn ibn Ḫalaf al-Tabrīzī Ǧāmī, 11th/17th c.), Ǧāmī (817-898/1414-1492) and others, and a couplet in Eastern Turkish probably by the scribe
