This Bayaz belonged to a nawab Yakub Khan who has made an entry of his illness under the date 1131 A.H. Some of the contents are (1) Risala sihat wa mardh (2) Mathnavi Haji Muhammed Rasai (3) Poems of Ali Razai Tajalli Shirazi (4) complete Rubaiyyat Omar Khayyam (5) Sozogudaz Noi (6) Mahmud ayaz Anis Shamlu (7) Mir Walihi an Aka Beg (8) Rubaiyyat Wahib (9) Poems of Mirza Badia (10) Anji's poems (10) Rubaiyyats of Adham (11) of Yahya (12) of Wirki Kummi (13) of Sufi (14) Poems of Abu Turab", Origin: Lacks dated colophon ; dated seal impression can provide only rough terminus ante quem ; likely late 17th or early 18th century., Book price and inventory marks on opening added leaf (p.3) ; numerous poetic excerpts and former owners' inscriptions at opening and close of codex, as well as between sections of the majmūʻah, including two statements on p.14 dated 1173 [1759 or 60] and 1174 [1760 or 61] respectively ; small rectangular seal impression in name of one Sharaf al-Dīn (شرف الدين) appears in outer margin of p.393 ; oval seal impression with "محمد حسين ..." dated 1104 [1692 or 3] appears regularly in the upper outer margin of the right-hand leaf, typically just before or after the middle of the quire (see p.574, 586, 706, 828, 973, etc.) ; smaller oval seal impression seemingly dated 1095 [1683 or 4] appears in lower outer corner or upper outer corner of several leaves (see p.213, 267, 271, 452 etc.)., Shelfmark: Ann Arbor, University of Michigan, Special Collections Research Center, Isl.
