Ms. codex., Title from rubricated heading at opening on p.4., Incipit: "الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على على خير خلقه محمد وآله اجمعين اما بعد منضور اين رساله اين بود كه پوشیده ...", Collation: 14 IV(112), IV+1 (121) ; exclusively quaternions ; catchwords present ; pagination in pencil, Western numerals, supplied during digitization (includes front flyleaf)., Layout: Written in 16 and 17 lines per page (as well 32 additional lines on the diagonal in the margins of the final section) ; frame-ruled., Script: Shikastah (shikastah-nastaʻlīq / شكسته نستعليق ) ; elegant hand ; partially but irregularly seriffed with effect of words descending to baseline, closed counters, elongated horizontal strokes, pointing inconsistent though typically in distinct dots ; Arabic text (excerpts and text of figures, etc.) in a fine Persianate naskh., Decoration: Keywords, headings and symbols rubricated ; numerous tables and diagrams in black and red (including figure on p.108)., Support: European laid paper of several types ; one type with 11 laid lines per cm.
