Notlar Ms. fragment., Title supplied by cataloguer., Incipit: "الطوفان وهم ظالمون فانجيناه واصحاب السفينة وجعلناها اية للعالمين ...", Collation: Single folio ; catchword visible., Layout: Written in 7 lines per page., Script: Naskh ; large calligraphic hand in an Ottoman style ; mainly serifless though with occasional right-sloping head-serif on initial lām, dramatically sweeping final nūn, kāf mabsūṭah preferred and often dramatically elongated ; fully vocalized., Decoration: Written area surrounded by rule border in red and blue ; recitation symbols in red ink ; textual dividers (verse stops) in the form of gold swirled discs with red and blue accents ; alif often added in red ink, where otherwise represented by dagger alif., Support: Hand laid paper, likely watermarked (though no watermark visible) with 11 laid lines per cm (horizontal) chain lines (vertical) spaced roughly 22-24 mm apart., Former shelfmark: Kelsey 67.1.75, Shelfmark: Ann Arbor, University of Michigan, Special Collections Research Center, Isl.
