Notlar Ms. codex.Title from title page (fol. 2a).21 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within a single red fillet. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. According to the catchword and the foliation in Arabic numerals, some leaves are missing (between fol. 7 and 8). Fol. 71-81 were misplaced. Several inscriptions on the pastedown of the upper cover and fol. 1a. On fol. 1b: Table of contents of the first text (Fihrist). Ownership statements on fol. 2a (one dated 1293 H.). Seal on fol. 2b (repeated throughout). Waqf (see fol. 4a). Note in Ottoman Turkish after the colophon of text 1 (fol. 101a). Fol. 106-109 blank, except for inscriptions on fol. 108b and 109b. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Two vertical labels on the spine, one with the title in Arabic, the other with the inscription "237" in Arabic and in Western numerals. Margins worm-eaten.Copied by Ilyās ibn Ḥajjī Nabī ibn Maḥmūd in [...?] (colophon, fol. 101a). The date 941 H. is given in the margin.Incipit: توجهنا الى جنابك وقصدنا نحو بابك ... وبعد فان العقل والنقل متطابقان على ان اكرم ما يناله قوى البشرExplicit: جامعة بين السعادتبن ... ربنا لا تزغ قلوبنا بعد ان هديتنا وهب لنا من لدنك رحمة انك انت الوهاب منك المبداء واليك الماب - Paper pasted on brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Worm-eaten. - Treatise against the philosophers. The text is followed on fol. 102b-105a by the Risālah fī khalq al-aʻmāl, written by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Dawwānī at the request of Saʻd al-Dīn Muḥammad al-Astarabādī (see beginning of text, fol. 102b).
