Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1b. Other titles from the start of the text on fol. 3a, and from the label on the inside of upper cover.13 lines per page. Written in a medium small naskh, fully vocalised, in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. From fol. 132a to the end the gold frame is thinner and without the black ink outline. Fol. 1b has a simple illuminated head piece made with a horizontal rectangle filled with gold leaf, on the top of which are two vertical rectangles in the centre and a triangle on each side of those, all outlined in black ink and gold leaf and speckled in gold. The space between lines of text on fol. 1b also speckled in gold. The rest of the ms has small gold circles used for breaks in text, and small medallions in gold leaf with red watercolor on the margin of the verso of each 12th leaf. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Some repairs to paper in the second half of the ms.Incipit:الحمد لله الذي جعل العلماء ... بعده بو عبد ضعيفه فضل ايدوب رب العالمين علماء ديندن وفضلاء دهردن قدوة العارفين ... استادم اسطواني محمد افندى معين دين حضور شريفنده اخذ وضبط ايتدوكم حكم مبين اسلام وايمان ووضوء ونمازه متعلق اولان مسائل دين اولنلردنExplicit: تحياتى اوقومقدر وابو الليث رحمة الله عليه خزائن فقهده ذكر اتمشدر وبحر الرايقده دخى مذكور در - Light brown leather with blind tooled design on covers consisting of two blind fillets around the edges of covers, six semi-circles tooled concave towards the center, four around the corners of covers and two on the sides, and seven tuǧra stamps, one large and two small ones in the centre, and a small one in each of the corners of the covers (inside the semi-circles). Pastedowns in brown paper. Endbands in cream and red. - A treatise in fiqh, addressing matters of principles of faith, worship and prayer, mostly expressed in the form of fetvas, i.e. questions and answers regarding those matters. This copy ends with a penultimate question (mesele) and is missing the final one present in another copy (see New Series no. 933).
