Text block has been trimmed. Paper very acidic and brittle.Binding is quarter morocco in green. Title in gold on spine. - A work on magic squares; the first chapter has seven sections. The first deals with those having three squares per side; the second with those having four; section three, those with five; section four, those with six; section five, those with seven; section six, those with eight on a side; the seventh with those having nine. A further section deals with 10-sided squares. The final chapter is devoted to the properties of letters.
