Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1b.Accompanied by note from Nicholas Martinovitch, dated December 1, 1925, in which ms. is erroneously attributed to Sharaf al-Dīn Muḥammad Ẓāhir al-Dīn Shufurwah; at the bottom is a brief note from Moghadam stating that the author is Athīr.Physical description: 20 lines per page, in two columns; written in small, elegant nastaʻliq in black on cream, glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text bordered by blue, gold, orange, and green lines; columns separated by double gold lines. Catchwords; a few marginal notes. Fol. 68 detached and followed by a lacuna. Extensive damp staining in margins.Decorations: Illuminated ʻunwān in gold and colors on fol. 1b with title in white. Margins of fol. 1b-2a decorated with blue lancets. On fol. 73b, colophon written in white and illuminated with gold and colors.Origin: Copy completed 920 H [1514 or 15] (fol. 73b). - Full brown leather with flap, partially detached; decorated with gold-stamped central mandorla, pendants, corner designs, and fillets. Spine repaired. Red leather doublures with central mandorla and corner designs in gold filigree on multi-colored background. - Collection of panegyrics and muqaṭṭaʻāt; the odes are addressed to the Saljūq Sulṭān Arslān ibn Ṭughrul (d. 1176) and Fakhr al-Dīn Shāh ʻAlāʾ al-Dawlah.
