Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "500/2 ḥāʼ".Origin: Copy completed by Aḥmad ibn Khalīl from Qaṣbat Nārllī at the end of Rajab 1138 [April 1726] (colophon, fol. 140b).Incipit: الحمد لله الواجب الوجود ذى الكرم والفضل والجود الاول القديم ... فيقول افقر العباد الى ربّه البارى على بن سلطان محمد القارى ... ان علم التوحيد الذى هو اساس بناء التاييد اشرف العلوم تبعا للمعلومExplicit: وانا علم واستغفر لما لا اعلم وانت علام الغيوب ولا حول ولا قوة الا بالله العلى العطيم وهذا خاتمة ما قصدناه وتتمة ما اردناه و نسئل الله العافية فى الدنيا والآخرة وان يختم لنا بالحسنى وان يبلغنا المقام الاسنى ويحفطنا فى هدا المحل الادنى ويرزقنا اللقا الاعلى فانّه الناصؤ والمولى والحمد لله اولا وآخرا والصلاة والسلام على نبيه محمد باكنا وظاهرا ... حرر مولفه فى اواسط شهر شوال ختم بالخير والاقبال عام عشرة بعد الالف من الهجرة والانتقال - Marbled paper over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Orange paper on envelope flap. Spine, fore-edge flap and edges in brown leather. Paper pastedown and flyleaf. - Commentary on al-Fiqh al-akbar, attributed to Abū Ḥanīfah, completed in Shawwāl 1010 [March-April 1602].
