(Other title supplied by the cataloger.)Copied by Abdülcelil bin Molla Abdülcelil (of Hanafi school and Kaderi tarikat) and completed on the 3rd of Rabīʻ al-Thānī 1164 (1751) -- colophon (fol. 100b).15 lines per page. Written in an elegant medium naskh, vocalised throughout, in black ink with occasional use of red for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper (some of it appears re-glazed with egg-albumen). Fol. 1 has two pieces of paper pasted over small sections (one of them is a piece of text), one on the recto and one on the verso of the leaf, probably covering ownership statements and/or stamps.Incipit: الحمد لمن تولاه والصلاة على من بناه ... اما بعد سلك تابعينه منظوم اولان فرزدق لقب همام همام ابن غالب الشاعر التابعى رحمه اللهExplicit: شرحه حسين الشهير بنظمى زاده ... للمرحوم المغفور الوزير الاعظم احمد پاشا نجل الوزير ... حسن پاشا عفى الله الكريم عنهما وعن جميع المسلمين امين - Light brown burnished leather (calf?) with envelope flap. Gold roll and two gold fillets around borders of covers. Small gold rosetta stamps as corner pieces. Central mandorlas, blind stamped, painted in brown and then gilt, with small radiating sprigs in gold ink around the edges, on upper and lower covers. Similar design on the envelope flap, with a smaller, heart-shaped stamp in place of the mandorlas. Pastedowns and lining to the envelope flap in ochre paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in dark cream paper. - A commentary on Farazdaq's qaṣīdah in praise of Imam Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn, written for/dedicated to Grand Vizier Ahmet Paşa (see end of text).
