Notlar Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger from the label on inside of upper cover.The main end of text on fol. 83a is dated 14th of Kânun-i Sani 1299 (January 1882). The latest date appearing in the chronology on fol. 2a is 10th of Teşrin-i Sani 1325 (November 1907).24 lines per page. Written in a small very casual ruqʻah in black ink. The text is mostly written in two columns. Many pages between sections are left blank, the largest such gap being that between fol. 32a-42b, inclusive. Only some of the leaves have catchwords. Cream paper with visible chain and laid lines and a watermark reading: "Superfein Persian Mill". Fol. 1 and fol. 92 are in modern square-ruled paper.Incipit: نظيرهء ساقى نامهء كاظم پاشا ساقى برايت دمادم صحباى بى مدارىExplicit: ديوان حرب ايد عزت چوق مشغول اولوب كيتدى - Brown grained paper over pasteboard on covers with green leather on spine. Marbled paper pastedowns. - A divan by Mehmet İzzet Paşa, apparently in his own hand. Fol. 2a contains a chronological account of the author's life (written in first person), with relevant dates. Fol. 4a has a crossed out section of muhammes verses at the beginning, before the start of the incipit. The main text of the divan ends on fol. 83a (see explicit), which is dated, but this is then followed by an extra section of müfredât added later on fol. 87a-87b.
