The covers have a central red-stamped mandorla outlined in gold, in a panel outlined by a gold painted fillet, with an outer border consisting of blind tooled fillets and a guilloche. Portion of the same frame on the envleope flap,with a smaller stamp on the pointe. Geometrical gold painting on the fore-edge flap.
