Occasional ḥāshiyah on the margin. Title on tail of text block.Inscription in Arabic script in red pencil on the pastedown of upper cover: "Uṣūl nā 23". Inscription on a label pasted on the same pastedown: "507/2 H.".Origin: Copy completed in 1175 H. by ʻAlī ibn al-ḥājjī Ibrāhīm in Qusṭanṭinīyah [Constantinople] in the Madrasat Sulṭān Muḥammad Khān (colophon, fol. 90b).Incipit: الحمد لله اردف التسمية بالتمجيد فى مفتتح الكلام اقتناء لما ورد ذى الاخبار واقتداء بطريق الاخيار واداء لبعض حقوق ما استغرقته فى ضرب الاحسانExplicit: بالفعل واما بان يفقد شرط من شروط الانتاج كما تقدم بيانه والله اعلم بالصواب - Quarter bound in marbled paper and red leather. Paper pastedown and free endpaper. - Gloss on the commentary by ʻAḍud al-Dīn al-Ījī (d. 756/1355) on the Mukhtaṣar al-Muntahá by Ibn al-Ḥājib (d. 646/1249), on uṣūl al-fiqh.
