Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits the first fol.).Chiefly quaternions.Origin: According to colophon, copied by Saʻd Allāh ibn Abī Bakr Isḥāq al-Tamīmī, Monday 16 Ramaḍān 1038 [May 1629] (fol. 127a-b).Incipit: رب يسر وتمم بالخير بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وبه نستعين الحمد لله الذى منه الابتداء واليه الاتنهاء ... بعد فلما فرغت عن تحرير المجسطى رايت ان احرر كتاب اصول الهندسة والحساب المنسوب الى اقليدسExplicit: على ما هو خارج منه فمن شاء فيلحقه والله الموفق والمعين والحمد لله رب العالمين وجد فى بعض نسخ اقليدس بعد تمام المقالة الخامسة عشر ما هذا نسخته ... وهو ان كل مشارك للاصغر اصغر وع ا من 13 والله اعلم - Bound in black leather, with outer border consisting of blind tooled fillets.
