Both covers have a similar blind tooled and gold painted frame with single fillets surounding a large s-shape pattern and s vergetal motif in the inner corners. Two gilt fillets frame on the envelope flap. The fore-edge flap is damaged. Blue, red, and white marbled paper pastedown and free endpaper. - Treatise on the spiritual teaching of al-Shaykh Abū al-ʻAbbās al-Mursī and Abū al-Ḥasan al-Shādhilī, comprising ten chapters (bāb) and a conclusion. The conclusion comprises three parts: al-Lāmiʻah al-munīrah wa-al-durrah al-khaṭīrah (fol. 121b) ; al-Waṣīyah al-maktūbah ilá ikhwāninā bi-al-Iskandarīyah (fol. 124b) ; Qaṣīdah (fol. 127a). The text is followed on the margins of the colophon and on the next two pages by short excerpts from several texts (fol. 128b-129b).
