Rubrication and catchwords. Arabic prayers written in naskh, vocalized, and accompanied by interlinear Persian translation in red. Light staining and a few marginal paper repairs; first leaf ragged and margins of fol. 1b-2a somewhat smudged. Text block is detached from binding. In good condition.Decoration: Small illuminated ʻunwān in gold and color on fol. 1b; basmalah in gold. Margins of fol. 1b-2a filled with gold and color floral design. Text framed in blue and gold with outer marginal red border.Origin: On fol. 124 a, collation statement dated 10 Jumādá II 1087 H [20 August 1676], and audition statement dated 1 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1087 H [5 January 1677].Incipit (fol. 6b): سپاس مر خداى را که دلالت کرد مارا بر جاده نجات و هداىت فرمود مارا بسوى آنچه واجب مىکرد - Loose in brown leather binding with gold-stamped central mandorla, pendants and fillets; orange-brown leather doublures. - A Persian translation of Bahāʾ al-Dīn al-ʻĀmilī's Miftāḥ al-falāḥ, a text explaining daily Shiʻite religious practices, by Jamāl al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Ḥusayn al-Khvānsārī and dedicated to Safavid Shāh Ṣafī II [r. 1666-1694]. Translator's introduction is on fol. 1b-6b.
