Thick light cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. Fol. (i)a and 1 and fol. i-iv at the end of the text are on later European glazed paper with watermark. Marginal annotations. Several inscriptions and short excerpts on fol. 2a-3a. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "ʻAqāʼid 110". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "608/2 Ḥāʼ".Collation: Paper, fol. 137 ; ii (fly-leaves with inscriptions ; (ii) is fol. 1 in the modern foliation in Western numerals) + 1-17⁸ (fol. 2-137) + iv (blank fly-leaves) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf.Incipit: احمد الله حمدا يتقاصر عن ادراك غايته عقول العقلاء ... وبعد فانه لما كان شرف العلم شرف معلومه ... [4ب] ... قال رحمه الله وبعد فمقصود الكتاب مرتب على مقدمة وثلث كتب اقول مقصود الكتاب مرتب على مقدمة اعنى ما يتوقف عليه المباحث الآتية الكلاميةEnd of text (as extent): وكما ان قوة كل جسم ضعف قوة نصفه كذلك تحريك كل القوة ضعف تحريك نصفها واذا كان - Commentary on Ṭawāliʻ al-anwār min maṭāliʻ al-anẓār by ʻAbd Allāh al-Bayḍawī (d. ca. 685/1286).
