Notlar Ms. codex.Title from note in red ink by a later hand (fol. 1a).19 lines per page. Written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within a black and gold border. Simple illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) in black and gold on fol. 4b. A few marginal annotations attributed to the author ("min-hu") written by the same hand as the main text. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Verses of poetry in Ottoman Turkish dated 1032 H. [1622 or 3] and 1034 H. [1624 or 5] on fol. 2a (inverted). Kabīkaj on fol. 3a. Fol. 78a-81a: Blank. On fol. 81b: Two short excerpts in Persian, the second on the Kalimat al-tawḥīd (lā ilāha illā Allāh), attributed respectively to Nūr al-Dīn Zādah and to ʻAbdī Chalabī al-Mawlawī. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "[crossed out] Falsafīyat 33 [end crossed out] Thālith 11". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 47/2". Some leaves are cut off and replaced in their original place (fol. 3, 78-80).Incipit: الهداية امر من لديه وكل شىء يعود اليه ... وبعد يقول ... لما رايت كمال عين الاعيان وهو نوع الانسان ... [5أ] ... اعلم ان الحكمة علم باحوال اعيان الموجوداتExplicit: وظنّى انّ الواجب على طالب الحق مطالعة كتب الشيخين ابى على وشهاب الدّين المقتول قدّس سرّهما وفوق طورهما طور عن قدره كالكبريت الاحمر وتوفيق الوصول اليه من الله الاكبر - Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. Upper and lower covers and envelope flap have a similar border consisting of gilt single fillets and a running pattern. Leather doublure. - Elegant copy of a commentary on Hidāyat al-ḥikmah by Athīr al-Dīn al-Abharī.
