Crude silver illumination on fol. 1b-2a; ʻunwān has been cut away and replaced with plain paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Occasional damp staining and smudging; in good condition.Incipit: بسمليله ايده لم فتح كلام * فتح اولا تا بو معماى بنام - Three-quarter leather with marbled paper covers. - A poem in praise of the Prophet Muhammad, describing his personal appearance and character. The poem was composed in 1007 H [1598 or 1599] as stated in the last line (fol. 24a). Text is followed by charts showing the distances of 97 cities from Istanbul on fol. 24b-29b.
