Inserts between fol. 64-65, 103-104, 110-111, 113-114, 121-122, 124-125, 174-175. Fol. 175b partially erased. Fol. 254b, 260b, 276a-279b blank.Paper worn away in outer margin due to water damage, with some loss of notes; light smudging. Some gatherings are loose. Possibly a holograph.Origin: According to notes on fol. 291b, copy was completed (taḥrīr) on 29 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1367 H. [i.e. 1267 H.] [25 September 1851] in Tehran. The text was subsequently edited (ḥurrira) on a Friday night at the end of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1284 H. [23 April 1868].Incipit: از غروب قرص خورشىد است تا وقت خوبىدن و در آن چند شمع است شمع اول بدانکه سزاوار آنستکه شىعيان على الدوام در ذکر خالق عالمىان باشند زىراکه انسان آفرىده نشد مگر براى عبادت - Full brown leather with blind-stamped central mandorla and pendants and blind-tooled fillets; blue pastedowns. Spine torn and partially detached along with back cover. - Third volume of a treatise on supplications for various times and occasions.
