Inscription in Arabic script in red pencil on fol. 1a: "S raqm 65".Copy completed on 12 Shaʻbān 787 [Sept. 18, 1385] (colophon, fol. 289b).Incipit: الحمد لله خالق النسم ورازق القسم مبدع البدايع وشارع الشرايع ... قال الشيخ الامام ... على بن محمد البزدوى ... العلم نوعان علم التوحيد والصفات وعلم الشرايع والاحكامExplicit: وذلك مثل تناول محظور الاحرام عن ضروره لحقت بالمحرم انه ترخص له ويضمن الجزاء فكذا ههنا - The binding consists of two disparate covers bound by a brown leather spine. The upper cover is made of brown leather on paper pasteboard with a central blind stamped mandorla. The lower cover is made of brown leather over paper pasteboard with a central blind tooled medallion outlined in gold, the oulining developing into two pendants on the vertical axis, within an elaborate outer border.
