Fihrist al-kutub al-ʻarabīyah (1887-1892/3), III, 142 (with identical incipit), bears the title al-Nutaf al-ḥisān fī al-fatāwá and is attributed, together with the other mss. listed in Brockelmann, GAL, II, 254 (8) and S II, 270 to al-Qāsim ibn al-ḥusayn al-Damrāghī al-Ghaznawī (d. 854/1459); ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn, col. 1925 and the mss. Paris 6750 (cf.
