Titles in gold in cartouche defined by ruled lines in gold. The text is framed in gold outlined in black with a blue outline. Thin laid paper ; glossy. Lacuna between fol. 249 and 250 ; margins stained with water.Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in Rajab 975 [Jan. 1568] (fol. 260b).Beginning as extant: پمبر بدان جنكئ ره نورد برآورد ازين آب كردنده كردExplicit: بپايان رساندم شرف نامه را بنظم وبقانون شه نامه را - Dark green leather. Covers have double fillet border with intervening blind-stamped scroll design. A third fillet is connected to the outer frame by diagonal lines at the corners. Upper cover has a central blind-stamped madorla filled with a floral motif with pendants on the vertical axis. Lower cover has central mandorla and pendants on the vertical axis, with floral motif in relief against a gilt background. Paper pastedowns. - Acephalous and defective copy of a collection of five epic poems (Makhzān al-asrār, Khusraw va Shīrīn, Haft Paykar, Laylī va Majnūn, Iskandarnāmah).
