[ii]b). Opening spread frame-ruled with a double gold frame. Both pages of opening spread have illuminated floral motifs in the margins (Fol. [ii]b-1a). Simple illuminated tailpiece in gold and red (fol. 68b).Origin: Copied by ʻAlī al-Kuraydī in 1226 -- colophon (fol. 68a).Incipit: بسم الله الذى جعل البسملة شريعة للافتتاح الرحمن الذى جعلها لوصول كل بركة المفتاح الرحيم الذى جعلها لقاصد كل خير النجاحExplicit: سبحان ربنا رب العزة عما يصفون وسلام على المرسلين والحمد لله رب العالمين هذا ما ابدع حكمة الحكيم من بيان بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم - Contemporaneous type II (with flap) binding in red leather.
