Text framed in gold and blue lines with outer marginal gold line.Origin: Completed by the author at al-Arḍ al-Aqdas al-Muqaddasah [Palestine?] on 7 Jumādá I 1296 H. [29 April 1879] (fol. 188b).Incipit: الحمد لله الذي انزل على عبده الكتاب لكل شي تبيانا وجعله لتصديق نبوته وتأييد رسالته معجزا وبرهانا - Contemporary full red leather with gold-stamped central star, corner designs, and fillets; blue leather doublures with gold-tooled fillets. - First volume of a treatise on Qurʼān recitation, consisting of a muqaddimah, twelve bāb, and a khātimah; holograph.
