Following the end of the text are two quotations (fol.57a) On the following folios is a short work captioned Min Kalām ʻAbd Allāh ibn al-Muʻtazz (fol. 57b-63b) which begins "al-Adab ṣūrat al-ʻaql fa-ḥassana ʻaqlaka kayfa shiʼt" Title also on lower edge of text block. Inscriptions on both pastedowns.Collation: Paper ; fol. 63 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 12-18 lines per page ; ruled.Description: Written in late Kufi ; paper tinted red ; MS in fair condition. Folio 63b largely illegible.Origin: MS probably belongs to Xth century and is apparently unique.Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم فاتحة الكتاب. عدها عطا بن يسار وعاصم الجحدري ...Colophon: الناس الناس الناس الخنّاس الناس والناس تم العدد والحمد لله رب العالمين - Later type III (without flap) binding of parchment. - An index of the last word of every verse in the Koran together with the number of the verses, words and letters contained in it. It is based on the works of ʻAṭāʼ ibn Yasār, 94 [712/3], ʻĀṣim al-Jaḥdari, who flourished during the first quarter of the second Muslim century, Yaḥyá ibn al-Ḥārith al-Dhimāri, 145 [762/3], Ubay ibn Kaʻb, 30 [650/1] and Muḥammad ibn ʻĪsá, 224 [838/9].
