Notlar Ms. codex.Physical description: 12 lines per page. Written in naskhī script in black ink by possibly three different scribes on white paper. Headings, key words, and markings in red. Most of the text is vowelled. - European binding with full crushed brown morocco, with gilt tooling, in excellent condition. - A collection of mainly Arabic prayers with a few in Turkish. Some prayers are taken from the works of Aḥmad ibn ʻAlī al-Būnī (d. 622 AH/1225 AD), the famous occultist. Also included are a prayer for a sea journey attributed to Abū al-Ḥasan al-Shādhilī (d. 656 AH/1258 AD), a prayer for seven different protections, another and different prayer for a sea journey, and a prayer for each day of the week.
