The heavier paper bears the watermarks "A O 1814" and a lion set within an oval that is topped by a crown (similar to 1813 watermark in Z. V. Uchastkina, A history of Russian hand-paper mills and their watermarks, Hilversum 1962, no. 582), while on the thinner paper are the watermarks "A O 1812" and a coat of arms with the letters A O underneath (similar to Uchastkina, no. 673); fol. 186-204 bear a pro patria watermark (Uchastkina, no. 743). Fol. 21-38, 43-44 on wove paper bearing the watermarks "U I L P" and "1811." Fol. 78-85 on wove paper bearing the watermark "J Larking 1807." Texts 2, 4 in two columns; some poems in text 2 written on a diagonal. Rubrication in brown; catchwords. Fol. 1b, 2b, 8b-11b, 30b, 53b, 87b-88a, 114b, 127b-128b, 172b blank. Some staining. In good condition.Origin: Text 3 completed on 28 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1229 H [11 November 1814] by Abdülvahid ibn-i Süleyman Ahunde oǧlu in Saint Petersburg (fol. 172a). After the colophon another note is inscribed giving the date according to the "Roman" calendar as 29 October 1814. - Quarter leather with marbled paper covers over pasted boards; modern pastedowns, flyleaves. - Collection of a Sufi prose work and Sufi poetry.
