Ḥāshiyah attributed to Mawlánā al-Shaykh Muṣṭafá Ramaḍān on fol. 1a (see also note on fol. 69a). Foliation in red ink using Arabic numerals. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Majāmiʻ 76". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "297/2 Ḥāʼ".Collation: Paper, fol. i, 70+8 ; i (fly-leaf on European glazed paper with watermark) + 1-6¹⁰ 7⁸ (+2, fol. 69-70) + 8⁸ (smaller leaves, European glazed paper with watermark, by another hand) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf.Incipit (fol. 1b): الحمد لله على نعمه الشاملة واشهد ان لا اله الا الله وحده لا شريك له ... وبعد فلما ظهر لى تصويب الملحين على فى وضع شرح على كراسهExplicit (fol. 69a): وتفاوت المراتب فى الدنيا والآخرة لا راقة لقضائه بالدفع ولا معقب لحكمه بالنقض سبحانه وتعالى قال المولف رحمه الله تعالى فرغت من تاليفه يوم الثلاثا ثالث ربيع الاول سنة ثلث وسبعين وثمان ماية - Decorated paper in mauve, black and white over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers and envelope flap. Brown leather spine and fore-edge flap. Violet paper pastedowns. - Commentary by Suyūṭī on his short treatise introducing to fourteen sciences, entitled al-Nuqāyah. According to the colophon, the commentary was completed on 3 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 873 [1468] (fol. 69a). The last quire (fol. 71-78), on smaller paper and by another hand, comprises two chapters of the Nuqāyah (ʻIlm al-tafsīr and ʻIlm al-ḥadīth), the last one entitled "al-Risālah al-mansūbah ilá Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī fī uṣūl al-ḥadīth" in the colophon (fol. 77a).
