Label on upper cover: " No. 24 MR".Layout: 15 lines per page in two columns ; frame-ruled in gold and black.Description: Written in medium small script in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed dark cream and dark blue paper with visible laid lines.Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold, blue, red, orange and white (fol. 2b). All headings written in black on gold background with blue outlined edges.Incipit: بسمليله ايده لم فتح كلام فتح اوله تا بو معما ى بنامExplicit: اولمدين بيك يدى تاريخى تمام بو رسالمده تمام اولدى تمام - Later? type III (without flap) binding of brown leather. Gold-stamped mandorlas and gold-tooled edging. Spine and cover edges repaired in red leather. Doublures in burgundy leather with gold painted mandorla-shaped motifs in the centre, and marbled paper pasted around the edges. - Hakanî Mehmet Bey's hilye, a poem in praise of the Prophet Muhammad, describing his personal appearance and character. The poem was composed in 1007 (1598-99) -- see end of text.
