Evidently the last folio is by a later hand. On the folio preceding the title page is a poem by Abū Naṣr Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Maḥmūd al-Tāwikhī(?) and some other additions. On the page after the colophon and on the folio following occur two verses of poetry in praise of the book, a statement by the author that he composed this work 875 [1470], and several poems called ʻʻpoems of joyʼʼ.Ms. codex.Title from title page (fol. 1a).Colophon: هذا اخر ما اردت ايراده في هذا الجزؤ الاول من هذا الکتابIncipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ... سبحان الله فاتق الانهار - Unbound. - Vol. I of a work on the description and history of al-Rawḍah, an island in the Nile now a part of Cairo, together with a description of the Nile.
