Notlar Ms. codex.Title from title page (fol. 1a).Incipit: الحمد لله الذي جعل قلوب البلغا افلاكا لمطالع البدور ... اما بعد فهذا كتاب مجموعة لفرق اهل الادب مفيدPhysical description: 25 lines per page. Written in medium small nastaʻlīq in black and red ink. Red dot text-stops. Thin light biscuit paper with laid lines and fibers visible ; fibers visible on the surface ; frame-ruled. The first fol. (omitted in the modern foliation) is a later added sheet of European paper. Fol. 1 in the modern foliation consists of a sheet of paper pasted on the recto of an original leaf. Inscription in Arabic numerals in red pencil on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "96".Origin: Copy completed on 29 Shaʻbān 996 [July 24, 1588] by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥīm al-Bayrūtī al-Ḥusaynī (colophon, fol. 325b). - Red leather over cardboard for lower cover and envelope flap. Covered by green cloth on upper cover. Green cloth doublure. External side of endpaper dyed in yellow and gold sprinkled. Spine and fore-edge flap repaired. - Anthology of texts in verses and prose. After the colophon are four leaves with verses of poetry attributed to Ibn Sīnā, to Abū Bakr al-ʻAydarūs, and to Taqī al-Dīn Ibn Ḥijjah (fol. 325b-327a). Three lines of poetry on fol. 327b.
