Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1b.Copied (and complied?) by derviş İsmail el-Hamî in Filibe (Plovdiv) and completed on 13 Jumādá al-Ākhirah [?] 1264 (1848) -- colophon of first selection on fol. 34a. Only this section has a colophon, but the entire ms. is in same hand and on same paper, and the rest of of it is either of the same or very similar date.23 lines per page. Written in a medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written in two columns and inside a double line frame outlined in red ink. The columns also separated with two lines of red ink. Fol. 1b has a simple head piece of several semi-circles drawn in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed cream paper with watermarks and frame ruled margins. Occasionally the margins are also outlined in red ink and filled with additional verses. Front and back pastedowns have 3 inscriptions of poetry in a later hand, all 3 entitled "Gazel".Incipit: اولا سبع المثانى ائ حكيم كلدى بسم الله الرحمن الرحيمExplicit: كلدى جان اغزمه كلمز دل خامى كبى دوست چيقجق فرقتله روح روآنم بو كيجه - Half leather with envelope flap. Marbled paper over pasteboard on covers and the envelope flap. Burgundy leather on spine, fore edge flap and around edges of covers. Pastedowns in cream paper. - A collection of chiefly Sufi poetry, starting with a selection by Refiʻî, entitled Haza risale-yi Refiʻî, including excerpts by Rüştü, İbrahim Efendi, Gaybî, Nesimî, Kaygusuz Abdal, and ending with a short selection of verses apparently by the scribe, who also seems to be the compiler of the collection.
