Soft, dark cream paper, hardly translucid, with pulp and a few lines visible. Some leaves uneven. Fol. 12, 22 are later replacements on European paper. Table of contents on fol. 3a. Several inscriptions and short excerpts on fol. 2a-b. Fol. 1 and 152 are added fly-leaves (European paper).The quires (mainly senions) are numbered using Arabic ordinals (see fol. 36a). Foliation in black ink using Arabic ordinals on the middle of the left margin of each recto. Between fol. 18 and 19: a folio and a bifolio, European paper, bearing portion text in Ottoman Turkish (142 x 96 mm.). Between fol. 48 and 49: quire consisting of nine bi-fol. with text in Ottoman Turkish (150 x 100 mm.). Between fol. 82 and 83: leaf with khuṭbah (198 x 140 mm.). Between fol. 88 and 89; Leaf with prayer (162 x 112 mm.). Between fol. 142 and 143: small quire with text in Ottoman Turkish (105 x 80 mm.) ; document dated 1241 H., with seal bearing the name of ʻAlī Basīm (90 x 192 mm.). Quires loose.Label pasted on the upper cover, with no visible inscription extant.
