Text is written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece in embossed gold leaf with orange, blue, red and purple watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Fol. 1 is the old flyleaf before the rebinding, in stiffened purple paper sprinkled in gold, and has verses of poetry added later in a different hand. (Description applies to text 1 only and the other two fragments differ in hand and style).Incipit: در ستايش فخر عالم پادشاه دوجهان صلو عليه ومظهر وما علمناه الشعر - New binding in blue buckram with endleaves in light blue paper. - Fragments of three different mss, starting with an incomplete copy of Nevres's divan on fol. 2b-11b, followed by a fragment of a hagiography of famous personages from Islamic history, starting here with the caliph ʻUthmān, continuing with ʻAlī, the Shiite imams, the founders of the four schools of law, and ending here with more general sections on saints, kings etc. (fol. 12a-31b), all of which is followed by the last page only of another ms (fol. 32a), dated 1190 (1776-77).
