Ayahs terminate in gilt discs. The title of the sūrah is inscribed in white over gold with some floral scroll decoration and a blue frame. The entire text is bordered by a multi-colored frame. In the right margin on each page are 3 ornamental medallions; marginal writting in red on recto indicates the beginning of Juzʾ 14. - Leaf from a Qurʾān manuscript consisting of Sūrat Ibrāhīm, ayahs 38-52, and Sūrat al-Ḥijr, ayahs 1-18. Probably from the Mamluk period, Egypt.
