Edges sprinkled with magenta ink. Some foxing. Extensive insect damage, mainly marginal, but which has resulted in paper repairs and some loss of text on the last six leaves.Origin: Copy completed in Jumādá II 1105 H [January-February 1694] (fol. 412a).Incipit: ابتداء هر سخن آن خوبتر در هر مقام کو بود با حمد معبود خداى پاک نام جواهر کنوز لغات حمد و ستاىش نثار بارگاه حضرت متکلمى که زبان اصناف ادمىان را کلىد گنج خانه سخن کردانىد - Multi-colored silk over pasted boards; embossed gold foil pastedowns and flyleaves. - Treatise on Arabic lexicography based on words of the Qurʼān; preceded by two pages of ikhtilājāt (predictions based on bodily tremors) (fol. 2b-3a).
