Before the colophon it is stated that the author composed his work 1137 [1725] and that this copy was made from the copy of Aḥmad al-Pīrtawi, a pupil of the author.Collation: Paper ; fol. 303 + i ; catchwords ; folation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 25 lines per page ; ruled.Description: Text in red and commentary overlined in red ; some vowel signs ; watermarks (shield with a face-in-the-moon and the roman-alphabet letter "A") ; MS in good condition. MS is rare.Origin: According to colophon copied Shaʻbān 1138 (fol. 302b).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم حمدا لمن نزل النبأ لنبيه للانذار والتنبيه وصلاة وسلاما على النبى الوحيد وعلى كل من قيل فيه الولد سر ابيه وبعد فيقول العبد الفقير الشيخ اسمعيل حقى البرسوى ...Colophon : تمت الکتابة في شهر شعبان المعظم المنتظم في سلك شهور سنة الف ومائة وثمان وثلثين من هجرة حبيب رب العالمين وصلى الله عليه وعلى اله وصحبه اجمعين وعلى جميع الانبياء والمرسلين والحمد لله رب العالمين - Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in green fabric over brown leather and marbled paper.
