The name of the author of the poem is given according to Kashf al-Ẓunūn and GAL. It does not appear in the copy. The author of the commentary could be identical with ʻUmar ibn Ibrāhīm ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Ḥalabī ibn al-ʻAjamī al-Shāfiʻī (704 - Aleppo, Rabīʻ I 777 /1304-1375). See Kahhalah, following Ibn al-ʻImād, Shadharāt al-dhahab (see ed. 1992, vol. 8, p. 436), and al-Dhahabī, Muʻjam Muḥaddithī al-Dhahabī (see ed. 1993, no. 218, where the name reads: "ʻUmar ibn Ibrāhīm ibn ʻAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥīm ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Ḥasan, ...
