Extensive staining, mainly marginal; numerous paper repairs, particularly to fol. 1-8, 314-327, but text largely unaffected. Fol. 1, 327 are heavily damaged and have been mounted onto newer paper.Decoration: Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 1b in gold and color. On fol. 1b-2a, margins illuminated with gold floral pattern and text set within clouds on gold ground. Illuminations are smudged and damaged.Origin: 3 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1086 H [18 February 1676], Muḥammad Muʼmin ibn Ḥaydar Muḥammad al-Mashhadī (fol. 327a).
